You deserve support designed for you.

The one size-fits all approach doesn't work for your health. Naturopathic care is different. We talk about every single one of your concerns because they all matter and help us see the big picture. This is how we understand what is going on at the root of everything and how we make a plan that brings you long-term relief.

What to Expect.

Healing is a journey.

You have to be willing and ready to put in the work but I will be there with you at every step of the way!

Your first visit will be about 60-90 minutes and I will ask you LOTS of questions. I want to know the whole story to determine where the start of your problems began and how we can work to resolve them. I may also recommend additional lab testing or bloodwork if needed.

We evaluate how you are doing in the key foundations of health and how we can better support you in the areas that are struggling:

  • Nutrition & digestion

  • Mental well-being & purpose

  • Sleep & rest

  • Movement

  • Hormonal Health

From here we develop your plan which encompasses both your short-term and long-term goals.

We will go at your pace and your style but expect dietary and lifestyle recommendations to start with. I promise my goal is not to take away all your favorite foods but rather I want your food to fuel you rather than hinder you. Diet and lifestyle are the foundation and this is why you can expect long-term results.

I am passionate about teaching and I want you to understand how your incredible body works and why I am making every single recommendation. I encourage you to ask questions at every step of the way. This is a team approach.

I also incorporate nutritional supplements, herbal medicines, and acupuncture into your treatment plan as needed. These are generally gearing at supporting and shifting your body's natural functioning rather than simply suppressing your concerns.

I am not a replacement or alternative to your family doctor but rather I work with your current healthcare team to enhance and improve upon the current care you are getting. The more people you have working with you on your health, the better you will feel.

I am so passionate about helping people on their health journey and I completely respect that your time and your health are a valuable investment. This is why I offer discovery calls. It's a great way for us to meet, talk about your goals and concerns and if this approach would work for you. I want you to feel as excited as me when it comes to health.

Other Frequently Asked Questions.

01

Are your services covered by insurance?

Naturopathic doctors are not covered by OHIP, however many extended health & benefits plans do cover 1:1 appointment fees and lab services.

You can contact your extended insurance provider to see what type of coverage you have. As a licensed naturopathic doctor, my services will be covered if your plan includes naturopathic medicine.

Your health and time are a valuable investment and I am happy to discuss your personal expectations and goals in a discovery call.

02

How often will I need follow-up appointments?

As I mentioned above, we go at your pace and the number of follow ups will really depend on your specific concerns, needs, goals, and of course budget.

Generally, we meet more often at the start to ensure we are seeing improvements. From there we can arrange our follow-ups based on your needs which often lines up to check-ins at the 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and 12 month points to ensure we are hitting our goal marks, that you're doing well, troubleshooting, and sometimes even up-leveling our goals.

The reason that I am so passionate about teaching and empowering you in your health is so that you have tools that allow you to continue to take control of your health even as our meetings become less frequent or end.

03

Will I have to take supplements?

The short answer is no. Our plans do not need to include supplements. I do generally recommend supplements to support our goals and facilitate healing, however it is always your choice on whether you would like to include them.

I will always offer the reasons for the recommended supplement, the expected benefits, risks and side affects if applicable and how long you can expect to take them.
